Busy weekend on the tight Adria Raceway near Venice.
Race one finished in a positive 12th position in the 26 car field. Race two unfortunately ended with a bent steering arm after an altercation with series contender Zhou while in 9th on lap one. Race three also ended in a positive 11th .
While not where Alex wants to be it remains a good result in a learning year in what is an ultra competitive field. A few important learnings were taken away to be implemented in the next round at Imola on the weekend of the 19th and 20th September. This is a great track that Alex enjoys very much
I was also exciting to have as a visitor in the pit box none other than ex chief engine designer for the Ferrari and Toyota F1 teams, Luca Marmorini. It was a pleasure for all to stop and hear some of his great experiences at the pinnacle of motorsport.
