All F3 teams moved to the Circuit de Catalunya for two days of official testing on the 9th-10th April.
Day 1 had perfect weather in the morning and saw Alex continue the good work on development of the car and his own preparation. The session ended at the lunch break with Alex on P5. The heavens then opened after lunch which gave Alex precious time in the wet for the first time in his F3. Again P5 at the end of the day.
Day 2 was back to dry and Alex was P1 for most of the morning until an engine failure took him out with 45 minutes to go and he eventually dropped down to P4.
A great engine change by his team and he was back on track mid afternoon for a race simulation. All good preparation for the first race on the 11th-12th May.
On to Budapest (17th-18th April) for the final 2 days of pre-season testing.
