It’s been a great summer break for Alex back in Tasmania catching up with family, friends and supporters and doing a bit of part-time work at Fish Frenzy restaurant.
Things will quickly start to ramp up from here as fundraising work is completed and Alex prepares for the busy year ahead. The plan is to wrap up the fundraising by the end of February and then head back to Europe in March ready for pre-season testing in France (Magny Cours and Paul Ricard).
This year Alex will be competing in the Formula Renault Eurocup Championship which comprises 10 rounds at some of the best race tracks in the world. The first round kicks off at Monza in Italy on 21 – 23 April.
Things then go up a gear and the program in May is crammed with races at Silverstone in the UK, the Pau street circuit in France followed by Monaco in conjunction with the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The full program is as follows –
Monza April 21st-23rd (2 races)
Silverstone May 12th-14th (2 races)
Pau May 19th-21st (2 races)
Monaco May 26th-28th (2 races)
Hungaroring June 30th, July 1st-2nd (3 races)

There will be formal announcements in due course concerning who Alex will be driving with this year, major partners and sponsors.
Finally, a special thanks to Collins SBA (Michael, Bruno and team) who helped set up a company to manage Alex’s racing career. Having a formal company also makes it easy for anyone wanting to make a donation (no matter how small) to do so by direct deposit to –
