Hockenheim proved to be a positive weekend overall with good pace shown throughout despite Alex being crashed into in race 2 with the driver responsible receiving a grid penalty for the last event in Barcelona.
Race 1 saw Alex move forward from 11th on the grid to a positive 6th over the finishing line with some exciting racing and great passes on a track that facilitates passing.
On day two Alex was on track for pole position in tricky conditions where cars were qualifying with slicks on a damp track. On his last lap he came across a driver proceeding slowly which held him up in sector one and despite his last two purple (fastest time) sectors he was 3rd in his group and 6th overall.
In the race an over optimistic manoeuvre from a fellow competitor put Alex out of the race.
