All teams travelled to Budapest for the last two days of testing before the Formula 3 championship gets underway in Barcelona on the 11th/12th May (FIA F3 Calendar http://www.fiaformula3.com/Calendar/)
After a very quick first stint Alex was on a fast qualifying lap with new tyres when he lost control of the car and hit the barriers very heavily. He would only return to the track with a few minutes to go at the end of the day to ensure the car was fully functional for day 2.
Day 2 was a lot more productive and it saw Alex complete 3 full race simulations with the focus on preparing race pace for event 1 in Barcelona. Alex and all of Campos Racing were pleased with what they saw. On to race 1!
